TIART: Running Shoes

Ohhhh Hello Thursday - so nice to see you again!

Just a quick post here for Take it and Run Thursday from Runners' Lounge!

So I just bought new shoes a while back and I dont even know the name of them. I only buy Asics for running shoes and thats about it. Lets not get me started on shoes. I HAVE TOO MANY SHOES!!

The cycle of my shoes = I buy them, they are all pretty and white. I get one splotch of dirt on them and FREAK out. I continue to run. I reach about 250 miles and then get a new pair!

Today I am sore. Sore legs, sore arms, sore back. I wore my pretty pink spikes yesterday for High Jump and I am thinking I might have to buy another pair of spikes cause those are just not cutting it for jumping.

    Dang 250!! And I thought my Nike's were bad with the standard 300 before they get the boot.

    You're an Asics girl, huh? I always wanted to be-- it seems all the great runners wear 'em-- but they tear up the back of my heels.

    I haven't tried Asics... maybe I'll give 'em a shot next time. I think I've tried just about every other brand and don't *LOVE* any. *grumble*

    I rocked out 650+ on my last pair of Asics. They were totally wrecked, but I'm too cheap to do 250 miles. :o)

    Wow, I am pretty much the same way.... Right about 250-300 they are DONE. I don't know why! :)

    I am an asics girl too... I always get news ones 250-300 miles too :)

    To be honest, I usually get new shoes around 250 miles too. Nothing wrong with that!

    And... I hate when my shoes get dirty despite the fact that I love running through puddles and snow piles when it's starting to warm up...

    I have to get new ones around the same time too! i dont know how long these busters are lasting though... i might need to get some new ones sooner rather than later! Sadly i'm not an asics girl-- i'm a mizuno freak! :) hehe!

    I usually get new shoes at around 250 too. Sometimes it's closer to 200.

    Even though people are always saying 500 miles ... that just doesn't work for everybody!
