1. I have been slacking on my hip PT exercises! Opps.
2. Morning vs. Evening running?? I am really seeing no difference between the two right now as it is dark at both times and cold out!
3. I heard Starbucks has a Gingerbread Latte - has anyone tried it? I was thinking of getting one tomorrow!!
It has been a busy week and I am ready for the weekend!
Happy Thursday!
mmmmm Gingerbread... I think I would want to try that before the Egg Nog. YUMMERS!! Will let you know if I test it.
ReplyDeleteIt is ALWAYS dark.. UGH!
People are excited about the gift exchange idea. Time to put the thinking caps on. I know Beth/Velma wants to help too..
cold morning/evening runs are sad... the only time thats pretty is lunch-- that is if it isnt raining! heres to one LONG winter!!! :) hhaha
ReplyDeleteI hate dark and cold and it is always dark and cold here. I do however like Gingerbread!! Nice Blog!
ReplyDeleteYa my personal preference would be "While there's light out Runner" but apparently that's not an option if you work a normal 8-5er.
ReplyDeleteThere's a HUGE advantage to running in the evenings. I'm awake!
ReplyDeleteAs strange as it sounds coming from a Southern Californian, I am HUGE hockey fan. I was in Buffalo last winter on a business trip and an associate and I saw the Sabres beat the Blues, which was just fine becuase Traitor Paul Kariya was plays for the Blues. I wanted a Connolly jersey, but they were sold out....
I've actually been to Buffalo a few times. My youngest son used to row each year at St. Catherines, ON, so we would fly into Buffalo and drive across the border. I've done a fair amount of travel in that area - drove once from Niagara, ON to Boston on I-90, and then once on I-81 from Canada (Ottawa, ON) through Syracuse and on down to Philadelphia. That is a beautiful part of the country!
evening runs! It's really the only option for this non-morning girl :) my friend was raving about the gingerbread lattes they other day. go for it!
ReplyDeleteRunning in the dark. Hello winter!
ReplyDeleteI am most definitely a morning runner. I'm so pooped at night, I pretty much have to be dragged into my sneakers. Mornings all the way.
ReplyDelete#3 sounds great! #2 you are done for the day!
ReplyDeleteMorning runs are easier to motivate...evening runs are just hard...at least for me!
ReplyDeleteHeard about the Gingerbread Latte but haven't tried it yet...
The difference is that in the evening it's just a Little bit warmer! ha, well, here at least. :)
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried ANY of the holiday Lattes yet! ehh, slacking.
I prefer to run in the a.m. because it's the best way to start the day! Your workout is done, you have no excuses (HAPPY HOUR) to avoid putting it off or not doing it at all and it energizes you to start your day off on the right foot!
ReplyDeleteI had my first Sbux "red cup" beverage yesterday. Haven't tried the gingerbread latte yet.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
gingerbread sucks. try pumpkin~~
ReplyDeletemorning is SO much better around me... less people, less cars, just better :)
ReplyDeleteMmmm Gingerbread Latte- sounds good! Well here in Melbourne Australia, we're gearing up for a very hot summer ahead, with temperatures for this week forecast in the low 30's every day- sorry, that's 86+ degrees in farenheit! So I'm looking at morning runs this week as a much more enjoyable option! Except that I've got a wicked heel blister right now, and really don't relish the idea of even putting my runners on tomorrow morning! :o)
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you!!
(PS, my nickname is J too!)
