Happy Friday!!

I was driving into work, trying not to get run over by the crazies that drive 100mph, and I smiled to myself because IT'S FRIDAY!!

Even though a full 8 hours of work still looms ahead of me, I am excited for this weekend!

Here's just a few things that I plan on doing this weekend:
  • Get a much needed haircut after work
  • Mail Valentine's Day card to my parents
  • Watch the Olympics!!!
  • Go watch my college team play Saturday
  • Make Red velvet cupcakes for Valentine's Day!
A perfect weekend that wont be too busy or too boring! I already have the DVR set up to record as much of the Olympics as possible!! I am sure I will fit some running in there - hopefully outside and not on the treadmill!!

Any exciting weekend plans? Hopefully the day will go quickly because I am ready for the weekend!!

**Took yesterday morning off from workouts and slept in. Felt groggy and slow until about lunch. Was supposed to go to spin class with the girls but got held up at work and then realized I had left my shorts and shoes at home. Woke up this morning and ran mile repeats on the treadmill. I miss running outside.

strategic resting is so beneficial i am finding. i've really started caring more about quality workouts than doing a lot of something every day. it's also nice to have yoga or walking on a rest day, just to still feel stretched out.

oooh a hair cut! i want to get my hair cut soon but i don't want it too much shorter. i hate when i'm growing it out and it's starting to be long but needs to be "tamed" but i don't want to lose the length. are you getting a style? i never know what to get.

sounds like an awesome weekend!! have fun watching your team :)

I am super pumped for the Olympics and the opening ceremonies tonight! We have some UND Sioux hockey players on both male and female teams!

Not much else planned for the weekend here except a birthday dinner, night out on the town, and some good workouts!

Well? It's Sunday night. I need you to spill the beans about Saturday night! You know, the way the Kings are playing, it really doesn't mean anything anyways (Hey - I can at least dream....)
