Photo Friday - My Watch!

This is my watch! Its small and its simple. The big button under the screen is the Start/Split button which is awesome for me because I can just push that each time I finish a interval and the time continues but it records my split. In the past, Timex had put the Start/Split button on the side and that made it really hard to use the feature!

Last night I caught up on all my Olympics! I watched Lindsey Vonn win the gold medal in downhill (and also watched all those women whip out!) and I saw Shaun White win gold in snowboarding! It made me proud to be an American watching those athletes succeed! I loved the snowboarders American Flag gloves!

I went to the gym this morning and barely managed 3 miles. This week my legs have felt beat up and sore from all the treadmill running. Or maybe it is because I wear high heels to work every day! I love high heels but maybe I need to fit in some flats to let my legs rest!

Suzy from Running on My Time and Caroline from Boston Runner both gave me this award! Right now I think we all need some sunshine especially those of us who live in the Eastern states and have all this snow and no sun! Thanks so much!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

I like your watch...and the pink shirt under it :). Happy Sunshine Award to you, and happy weekend!! Rest the legs so they can run strong again soon!

I had a watch just like that... and just switched to the Garmin FR60. I love it.

I love heels too... but just wear them to church on Sundays. Being a stay-at-home-mother, I do not ahve much use for them during the week.

hey as long as the watch does what you want it too! The Olympics are great to watch, love them. Shaun White is simply amazing, he seems like a cool guy too.

The Olympics have been fun to watch! Thanks for the reminder about the Timex... I need to replace mine soon as it's falling apart from all the chlorine!!

I love heels too. But all the running is hard on my legs & feet. I try to give them a break a few days a week.

Nice watch! That split button looks really handy.

Lindsey Vonn was AMAZING, but watching so many women whipe out was painful. I was CRINGING the entire time.

Thanks for linking up the red mittens!

High heels are tough. I had to give them up after I found my calves were really burning on running days. I still wear them sometimes, but not often.

I am so psyched about the Olympics, too!! Although, it's making it harder for me to get up in the morning...

i love your watch!!!!!

and i totally agree- olympics are soooo inspiring. and the ages of the competitors are crazy! can you believe that one figure skater was discovered by his coach when he was FOUR!?! four!!!!!!!!!!!!! and he still has the same coach (he is now 19). gosh. when i was four... i was... finger painting???? :)

TGIF!

p.s. i reviewed the movie Valentine's day last weekend-- i liked it and thought it was cute and enjoyed seeing taylor and taylor and all the celebs :) but as a movie/story thought it was just okay. kinda moved along quickly didn't feel too strongly about most of the characters and their stories.

I like the simplicity of your watch! It works, and that is the important part. I like the flower - enjoy it through these (last) winter days.

I had to stay up to watch Shaun White win, that was a great night in particular to watch the games...I can't wait for ladies figure skating.

The Olympics have been awesome, but all of the crashes really highlight how dangerous some of those things are. Crazy stuff.

Sweet watch! I wish my Garmin had cool features like that. Sometimes that thing is a piece of junk!
