I woke up this morning and didn't really want to go for my run. I knew I would regret it if I missed the run so I headed out for a 4 mile zombie, half awake run where I just cruised along. I came into work and have been mopping around for the past couple of hours, not wanting to do any actual work.
So obviously I am being totally lame and a pessimist! In order to try and snap me out of my grouchy, crappy mood this morning, I wanted to make a list of good things:
- It is sunny and beautiful outside.
- I ran this morning and I didn't trip and fall!
- Almost the weekend!
- Interval workout planned for tomorrow! Yippie!

Sorry you've had a bleh kind of a morning. I actually was in that state for the past week. Good to keep in mind the positives that are in your life. You're not injured! don't forget that one
Kudos for going out for a run! I've been in a funk and haven't run since Sunday. It sucks. Enjoy the weekend!
I have had so much going on this week, I haven't ran since Monday, which is ridiculous. I was goign to run this a.m. before work but it was pouring out & I just didn't have it in me to run in the rain... So I will make up for it by running 9 miles tomorrow.
I am really looking forward to the weekend at my parents' cabin. It will be good to get away for some relaxation! And 3 of my 4 nephews will be there so I am looking forward to all the hugs I will get from them!
It's been that kind of day for me as well. A bad case of the don't wannas. 5 O'Clock can't come faster!

i've been kind of blah lately too because of all the packing and stuff prepping for my last move out at my school. but the weather's nice, i'm running fast and having fun so it's all good :)
Would it help if I tell you it's a LONG weekend here in Canada? We have Monday off. :)

I felt that way on Wednesday. I haven't been getting to bed on time, and work and other things have been SO busy. The last thing I wanted to do was run. But I'm so glad I did!! YAY!

Good idea to make a positive list when you are in a funk. Sometimes you just need to force yourself to snap out of it.

The most positive thing happening on my end is that I'm feeling good and can't wait for my first half-marathon in a little more than a week :)
I needed to read this yesterday. I was in a funk too. Today, some of the positives are: I get to run, it is a beautiful rainy spring day, I don't have to think about doing any work for the next 48 hours, and my house ist clean!

I was blah yesterday too... and I did a 4-mile run too. Maybe it's something in the air. Glad you went for your run though! How did interval training go?
