1. This morning's run was amazing. I awoke to cool temperatures in the upper 50s and headed out around 5am. As I started running, I was soon enveloped in fog where I could not see anything 20 feet in front or behind me! Something about the fog and the quietness of the morning made me so happy to be out running! As I reached the turnaround point in my run, the fog had lifted to reveal the beautiful sunrise! This is the best part about morning running in the summer!
2. I really, really want to go Strawberry picking! Although I know there is a chance I may eat more than I actually pick, that is a risk I am willing to take!
3. I signed up for another 5k next Friday, June 18th. I ran this same race last year with Brian and we loved it so much we are going back again!! I am also thinking about signing up for a 10k race 14 days before my 15k. Do you think the 10k is too close to the 15k? Should I race the 10k or just run it as a tempo run??
Hope everyone is having a great Thursday! I can't wait for Friday and the weekend!!

Everyone is talking about strawberries lately!! I have GOT to get me some strawberries!!
MMMM< fresh strawberries are so good!!
Great job on the morning run .. you make it sound so nice out there!
I think the 10K would be okay, but I wouldn't go all out. Maybe use it to test some pacing for the 15K?
Sounds like a great Thursday to me!! I'm jealous of ur morning run!!! :-) I love running in fog!! <3
you must go strawberry picking! there's nothing sweeter than a fresh strawberry
hmmm i like the idea of using the 10k as a tempo. i think that if you go all out then the chances of running a stellar 15k is iffy
Sounds like a lovely way to start the day!
If the 15k is the more important race to you, I'd tempo or easy run the 10k.
I was just talking today about bringing the kids to pick strawberries. We always pick a ton and freeze them for smoothies.
2 weeks is plenty of time to recover from a 10k ("they" say 1 day for every mile raced but I think that's a pretty conservative estimation) ... I think you should race them both!!!
Mmm.. strawberries. I remember when we had a raspberry patch in our back yard at my parents old house... mom would have us girls help pick, and I think two went in my mouth for every 1 I put in the bowl! LOL
I think you can do both the 10K and 15K. Just decide which one is more important to you and put more effort in that one and less in the other. I bought some strawberries today!
Mmm, I LOVE strawberries! Your morning run sounds great. I'm no expert, but I would run the 10K nice and easy.
I think you could do the 10k & the 15k. Just maybe don't go all out on the 10k?
Strawberry picking sounds wonderful. I too think I would probably eat a ton. My grandparents had raspberry bushes when I was a child & we'd go over to pick berries each week. My mom would have a huge bucket at the end of the night... my sisters & I would barely have any in our buckets... they all went directly into our stomach!
Mmmmm fresh summer fruit. So good.
I love the fog! What a great start to your day!
If the 15K is more important I would take it easier in the 10K.
I think you can run both! See how the weather is and you can run hard/easy depending on the circumstances. Good luck with your 5K too!
Sounds like an awesome run, good for you!! Good luck on your race next week! IN regards to the 15k, I think a 10k is a good training distance, maybe just not race it, but use it as training.
upper 50's and fog? perfect!
That does sound like a perfectly amazing run!
I don't think the 10k would be too close to the 15k :)
I LOVE fresh strawberries. Especially with pineapples. Mmm.
