Three Things Thursday

1. Summer Hours started this week at work. That means working Monday thru Thursday, ten hour days. Its a tough schedule, but nice having Fridays off all summer!

And we just lost power at work for about an hour. Not sure if it was due to the heat, but I honestly thought they were going to send us home for the day :(

2. This morning I headed out for a short run in 77F with 99% humidity. Wowee! Kept it slow and steady to get my legs ready for Sunday. Finished 2.35 miles in 20 minutes and then ate breakfast out on the deck!

3. The Boilermaker 15k is this Sunday!! I have picked out my race outfit and started to pack! There is going to be a record 13,000+ runners this year. Although the chances are slim, let me know if you are going to be there and maybe we will run into each other!

Good luck to everyone racing and have a great weekend!

I would LOVE a 4-day work week for the summer! Enjoy Fridays off!

Good luck at the Boilermaker!

I envy your summer hours. 10 day work weeks do suck but they are better than having 5 days of work and nothing to do (thats me). Power out for an hour...gross

Nice work schedule! Living near DC with all the gov't. workers, I know lots of folks with the same and they all seem to love it.

Good luck this weekend!

I am def envious of your 4 day work week. 10 hour days are long days, but it's nice that every weekend is a long weekend! I love when companies do things like that!

Hope the temps aren't as hot this weekend for your race!

I would've been praying for an early release from work!! I work 4 day weeks now and even though the hours are long, I can't imagine going to work 5 days a week anymore. Good luck on the race!

I would do pretty much anything to have only a 4 day work week with a 3 day weekend! Good luck this weekend!

Pretty sweet schedule. I'm sure knowing you have an extra day off make your extra hours a little less painful. Good luck at the race this weekend.
