4:40am

That is the time I woke up this morning. For the third time this week.

I am tired. I am grumpy. I am ready for Saturday when I can sleep in.

I forgot how draining waking up early to get workouts in before work can be.

This morning at the gym I ran ONE whole mile. Woohoo!

On the way to work, I stopped and got myself this candy cane chocolate donut as reward for getting my butt out of bed and getting 3 great morning workouts in! Yum!

How do you reward yourself??

Happy Friday!

Oh my gawd, that looks amazing!! Way to go on th early morning wake ups. Once I am in the routine of it, I can't help but get up that early. Nice during the week, really obnoxious on Sundays...

Nice job getting yourself out of bed and getting it done! I am fine with 5:00 am, but many times like you I have to get up at 4:15, 4:30, 4:45 depending on how far I am going. Those days are hard to recover from when there are too many in a week.

How do I reward myself? I don't have a specific reward, it depends on what I am craving :)

Ohhhh that donut looks tasty! Great job on the AM workouts. I thought I was bad ass for getting up at 5:20 today to hit the gym. ;)

Nice job on those early morning workouts! I thought my 5:45am was bad - guess I better quit complaining :)

That donut looks amazing - I'm very jealous! Right now, I'm rewarding myself with pecan pie I baked over the weekend, but usually my rewards are smoothies or a glass of champagne if I was really good.

Well done! My mornings start very early during the week depending on how far I'm running. Some long runs have me up at 3:30 already...we are so crazy.

I buy myself little treats too - Booster Juice after a long run is my fave!

Mmmm. Timbits and a coffe. Dang I wish we had Tim Horton's out here in Califonia!

That donut looks good! I don't have a typical reward for myself. Sometimes its a yummy coffee drink, other times it's a fattening meal, but more often then not, I don't reward myself after a workout. I usually feel like eating something healthy right after, then have something later that night.

I don't reward myself ... because I have been TERRIBLE about disciplining myself. Today I declared it was my final day of fun food. Starting tomorrow I will try to eat like a runner!
