Too Much

These are a few of the things I have had TOO MUCH of in the past few days:

1. Candy - Being at the future In Laws has been great except for the fact that there seems to be an UNLIMITED amount of candy lying around the house.

2. Cookies and Coffee - Nothing like a mid morning snack of gingerbread cookies and coffee.

3. Running - I really haven't had any other options for working out besides running, so I ran three days in a row and now my legs HURT. Rest day required tomorrow.

Saturday (Christmas Day): 2.5 miles with Brian
Sunday: 3 speedy miles
Monday: 2.5 slow snowy miles

4. Read, Nap, Repeat - The afternoons have been filled with laziness where I lay on the couch and read my book, then fall asleep then repeat the cycle. It has been amazing! I love the holidays!

What have you had too much of this holiday?

Sounds like a wonderful holiday! Mmm, gingerbread men + coffee sounds divine! I've had way more calories than I usually consume! Will be good to get back to my normal eating habits this week!

Sounds awesome! Coffee and Christmas cookies were made to be together--as were reading and naps!

I definitely know what you mean about the candy. We have a bowl of hershey kisses that never seems to empty! My parents are visiting (their stay lasting an extra day since the airports are closed) and while I enjoy having them here, I'm looking forward to getting back on a regular schedule.

Happy Holidays!

I basically haven't stopped eating for a week. And super lazy - no running. Trying to reel it all back in today! Aaaahhh the holidays - too much fun!

Oh boy. I probably won't stop snacking until the egg nog is gone. Like off the store shelves...

I have had too much wine! But since it's something I haven't been indulging in much at all lately, too much is really only two glasses, which isn't really that much at all!

Sounds wonderful! You can never have too much rest and relaxation in the afternoons :) I have definitely splurged on too much wine and sugar cookies ;)

I think I over-did it on the miles leading up to the long weekend, so when I tried to run after Christmas I couldn't. :(

And I ate my weight in white sheet cake with a butter cream filling. OMG it was good. I feel so gross! I seriously walked around with crusty frosting on my shirt for 1/2 a day before noticing. Then I didn't even bother to care.

my miles are nuts right now since i'm trying to hit an end of year goal...but that just makes all the cookies ok!

Happy holidays!

For me, it's been too much free time. Sounds silly, but I start to go stir crazy instead of having it relax me.
