It's FRIDAY!!!

This week sure has flown by and I have just not had enough time to sit down and dedicate to blogging.

I have been running. Since it has been warmer I was able to get outside Wednesday for 3.6 miles at 7:26 min/mile pace then Thursday morning I got up again and took another route for 3.6 miles at 8:33 min/mile pace. I felt really slow in the morning plus my headlight died so it was a slow dark run! Has anyone else done double runs like this and just felt slow?

Tomorrow I am meeting my co-worker who I ran with before and we are going to pound out some miles together.

Going back to the snowshoe thing - this weekend there is a snowshoe 5k race at a local park. I will not be participating BUT my cousin will be. I may go and check this out because it really does sound very interesting!

Well there is really nothing else interesting going on in my life. It has been a very mundane week for me, busy but mundane! I am way behind on reading blogs but hopefully today I will catch up!

Hope everyone has a great Friday and enjoys the weekend!!!

I think your body naturally has fast days and slow days. Plus if it was dark you probably ran a little slower because you couldn't see! Great runs though! Have an awesome weekend

A snowshoe 5K sounds interesting! I remember when I was little and we would go on class trips somewhere and we would go snowshoeing. They always had those huge wooden ones that you tripped on and basically couldn't do anything on without looking like a fool. So, I know that the snowshoes now are small, light, and metal I can't help but picture that race with those ginormous ones haha

It's amazing how we can feel so different from one run to the next sometimes. Good job on both runs, nonetheless!

Have fun watching the snowshoe event - sounds fun! And have a fantastic weekend!

I love snowshoeing, but I have some suitable for walking. They definitely wouldn't work for a race. Enjoy watching them snowshoe!

I would love to be able to maintain a 7:26 pace for ONE mile some day. :) Well done! I am hoping to get outside for a longish run, like maybe 7-10 miles, on Sunday. It's supposed to be around 34 which will feel so warm! Can't wait - I am so sick of the treadmill!

I think the tough/bad runs are thrown in there to make us appreciate the good ones even more ;) Have a great weekend!

I can't remember the last time I was so happy it was Friday. :)

The snowshoe 5k sounds awesome! I've never been snowshoeing but I've always wanted to try it. Although I can't even imagine *racing* while snowshoeing... Wow.

I'll echo what Jocelyn said, there are fast days and slow days. I let my body decide what kind of day it's going to be.

I hear you on being dedicated to blogging. I'm actually taking a break from it for a while. It just hasn't been a priority lately.

I'm glad it's warming up a little. Still too cold for my fragile body!

And what's this I hear that the Sabre's are leading the division?

Happy you could find a running buddy co-workers. Those are the best.
